The zeppelin is a gloriously impractical method of transportation. It’s simultaneously a symbol of innovation and luxury: best known now for its potential for disaster, but also a symbol of optimism, of curiosity, of new horizons. The call to “take the zeppelin” embodies an attempt to follow that philosophy: have fun, take risks, live in the now without worrying whether the now will last or not.
Nah I’m just kidding — “takethezeppelin” was just a string of fun words my roommate and I made up when I decided to do this blog thing. But that story I made up was good, no?
